November 26, 2007 - Jingle has been in a home for a year now. Her new name is Sophie and they love her to death. She has settled in so well and goes to work with them every day.

Blizzard has moved on to live with my cousin, as they lost their beloved Thumper. He has been a wonderful addition to their family. It was easy for him go there as I had kept their daughter Gracie, who had bonded with him since he arrived. Gracie turned school age and does not come so he just went to live with her. Every night Blizzard lets them know when it is story time as he likes to take part in the quality time together. He is only 5 minutes from us and I often stop in to see him and of course, the family.

Wave has just been bred for the last time. She lives in Lunenburg with Gary and Nancy Cook who love her to pieces. She is the smallest female I have and I hope to keep a small pup from her. Nancy tells me that Wave stops at several places on her walks in Lunenburg for treats so she is well-known in the everyday stops.

Shiver has had her last litter of pups during the summer and will be spayed within the next month.

As mentioned in the following news item, we now have a litter from Breeze and Blizzard. They have 8 fat puppies; six boys and two girls. These pups will be ready for homes as of December 29/07.

Daffodil and Boomer have a litter of 5. There are four girls and one boy. These will be New Year puppies.

November 26, 2007 - Breeze's litter is now two weeks old. This litter is available between Christmas and New Year's. Two pups are already sold, so contact Jane soon for more information. Also, several new photos were added to the new gallery. Click HERE to see them.

September 27, 2007 - Amazing Grace (call name Mazie) has just started obedience classes with her other furry friends and is doing quite well. Says Jane, "Mazie (who will be 1 year old in November) recognizes sea weed and then feels for the rock. Once she finds the rock she climbs it and does a gigantic leap to get closer to her retreive item."

Included in the latest gallery is a picture of Daffodil. Jane says, "Daffodill has turned into our clown. In this photo she sits at the kitchen table. As she sits here she says a three syllable bark that we tell her is ‘I Love You’. She also says two syllables - ‘Ma Ma’".

"My daughter Gillian, who had won awards last spring for community helper and leadership skills, is excellent with the dogs and was asked by the Two Bays 4-H Club to teach handling and obedience this year. She did and they enjoyed her work. As well, she took Vet Science from the vet there, who is the General Leader of the Club.

We then had a Drill team at our Cadet core. Gillian Bond (with Golden ‘Shiver’), sister Takara Bond (with Portuguese Water Dog ‘Breeze’) and Alexander Adams (with Golden ‘Rhumption’) participated. This took place in Lunenburg and was quite entertaining."

May 16, 2007 - Daffy has been bred and is expecting to give birth around the 24th of May. As well, Shiver has been bred to Broker and those pups are due in June. Contact Jane for more information.
